I am Ulaş Akarsu, a freelance conference interpreter. Thanks to this adorably lunatic profession I do not only travel to the least expected destinations at the least expected moments but I also switch from topic to topic in the blink of an eye.
Based in Istanbul I am always ready to pack for new interpreting assignments. Having a special passport, I usually do not need visas.

FRENCH INSTRUCTION
Teaching French is my major job. Working for years with university level students allowed me to develop a kind of singular approach for language instruction in classroom. I tend to emphasize the spoken interaction and push the students towards it beginning at the very first day of classes while encouraging them to leave their confort zone. As far as I see they enjoy it and more importantly it seems significantly beneficial.
